You can export your Sales Journal and separately your Purchases Journal by Date Range i.e. January 1, 2010 to present and then import those same transactions. Open your Company that contains the original transactions, click on FILE ans then click on Select Import / Export. Now choose Accounts Payable and Purchase Journal, Click on the EXPORT Icon and enter the desired date range, do not change any of the export field listings. Next review the export file name and data path, check "Include Headers" and finally click OK to start the export process. Repeat for Accounts Receivable. On the AR side, if you used Sales Tax transactions then you will need to copy the Tax Codes and Tax Authorities data files from the original company to the new company via Windows Explorer before attempting to import the AR transactions. Check the Datapath and file name, click off Include Heasders, as applicable before click OK to process the import file. Assuming that you have previously entered in the Beginning Balances for open AR Invoices and AP Invoices dated December 31, 2009 and prior, then you can effectively repeat the above processes for AR Receipts and AP Payments dated January 1, 2010 and newer.

I already transfer all the lists.  I want to transfer transactions (AR and AP) from January 1 to the present  and link that to beginning balances for 12/31/2009 (JE for all accounts except. AR and AP.  Any sugestions?

Jorge, are you wanting to buld or rebuild a Peachtree Company to list only Sales Invoices, Customer receipts, Venodor Bills and related Payments? What about the Customer List, Vendor List, Chart of Accounts and more? You will need to be more precise on your challenge or consider contracting a Peachtree Certified Consultant to perform the work for you.

Hello Everyone.

I am new to Peachtree, and I am doing an installation.  I want to create a new file for a client and transfer just invoices, payments and bills.  Any sugestions how to do this or any input on how to implement peachtree for a small business?
