I have a question so perhaps this is not the proper channel but I sent to an individual and they have not answered my e-mail.  We have the 2010 Construction software and we are having a problem with the "Quotes & Proposals" screen.  In the older version (2009) when you converted a quote it took the invoice off the quote screen and moved it to "Sales Invoices".  Now it shows it in Sales Invoices but it also leaves it in Quotes.  This causes confusion as when we add new invoices for the current month it combines it with the ones converted and billed.  Is there some step we are missing?

Thanks, Janice Montgomery (Customer Number 2454457)

Hi Janice -

I'm sorry to hear you didn't receive a response. When we added the Transaction History feature (on a transaction screen you can drill down to related transactions) in Release 2010, we changed how Quotes worked. Now when you convert a Quote to a Sales Order or a Sales Invoice, Peachtree keeps the Quote transaction so that you can drill down to it with Transaction History. I'm not sure what's happening when you say invoices are being combined but I'd be happy to talk with you over the phone and see if we can figure out what's going on.

On Monday, I will look up your contact information with the customer number you provided and give you a call.

Talk with you soon,

Andrea

Hi Janice -

I just got off the phone with Gene. We had a good conversation about quotes and I explained the View Related Transactions link. I think he's all set but let me know if you have any other questions.

Andrea

PS I hope business turns around for you soon! Gene explained how the oil spill is really taking a toll on you down there. It's really a terrible situation on many fronts. Good luck!!
