On August 8th, we unveiled a new Sage ACT! connected service called Sage ACT! Connect. This service is an evolution of our mobile solution, Sage Mobile for ACT!, and takes remote accessibility to the next level, enabling you to access your Sage ACT! contact and calendar details in the method that’s most convenient for you. Sage ACT! Connect offers several important features that can extend the power of your Sage ACT! data, enabling those who need to access contact and calendar details while away from their primary laptop or PC.
With Sage ACT! Connect, you can view and edit contact details, such as notes and histories, or view your calendar from virtually any web browser or mobile device. This wide range of support includes coverage for some of the hottest devices on the market today including popular PC tablets iPad or mobile platforms from Google Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, and others.
An important distinction from our earlier mobile solution is that Sage ACT! Connect enables team sync so that a single PC or server can sync ACT! data on behalf of the workgroup, ensuring individual users have the latest version of their calendar or contact information. This team sync works great in organizations with users who are away from the office but need to stay connected with important scheduling or contact updates.
With Sage ACT! Connect you can access Sage ACT! information in multiple ways; through a web browser from your PC or popular tables like the iPad, or by synchronizing the information down to your supported mobile device. This means that regardless of where the information is accessed you can work with important contact and calendar details and be on top of your game while visiting clients or prepping for your next important meeting.
Finally, Sage ACT! Connect makes it easy to import contacts, calendar, and friends pictures from popular internet services like Google, Yahoo, and Facebook. This makes it easier than ever to combine personal and business contact and calendar information into a single view of your world.
