Peachtree customers in the news!

by Sage Employee AimeeE on 08-24-2009 03:01 PM

One of the most effective ways for us to tell the world about Peachtree is by showcasing YOUR- our customers'- successes!  PR is always on the lookout for interesting customer stories that we can in turn pitch to the media, for our mutual benefit.  We've had a couple of great stories run recently that I wanted to share with the community:

Davidson Chocolate, based in Davidson, NC, opened their doors a year ago, right before the gas crisis.  Needless to say, they've faced some challenges in their first year of business, but have handled them all very well, and are thriving!  Entrepreneur magazine interviewed them recently for a piece on businesses that are flourishing in the current economy.  As you'll see, in this particular article, Peachtree isn't even mentioned, but it's a fantastic story,  http://www.entrepreneur.com/startingabusiness/businessideas/article203048.html and excellent PR for them!

Even better, that story was picked up by MSNBC.com:  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32477879/ns/business-small_business, and US News & World Report online:  http://www.usnews.com/articles/business/small-business-entrepreneurs/2009/08/19/simple-luxuries-thri..., essentially tripling the story's reach!

Chip Wade is another customer; you may have seen him on HGTV's "Designed to Sell," and he has another show launching on the network this fall.  Through his successes on TV, he's built up quite a demand for his design and contracting services here in Atlanta, and so launched his firm, Wade Taylor LLC, last fall.  PR worked recently with Chip to contribute the following article to Modern Contractor Solutions, which discusses his experience implementing Peachtree to get his business going on the right foot:  http://www.moderncontractorsolutions.com/articlesdetail.php?id_articles=597&id_artcatg=5

What both of these articles have in common are a focus on cool small businesses that have an interesting story to share, are working hard, thriving, and getting things done!  Do you have a story you think we need to tell?  Let us know!
