Print a Payroll Register for the full Year in which you may have entered an employee check. When found, delete the payroll entry, so that there are no transactions associated with the employee. When the employee record is clean and free of any transactions, you can then go to Maintain - Employees and select the Employee ID, followed by clicking on the DELETE Icon to remove the record.

I added an employee and did the payroll setup and I was trying to record a paycheck.
I was unsuccessful trying to record the paycheck and also will be using a 3rd party payroll company so I plan on importing the the general ledger entries.
How can I delete this employee?
What payroll entry is PT referring to and how can I get rid of it?
