Crystal Reports for Peachtree

I was just trying to install Crystal Reports on my PC and point to the Peachtree Database so I could create/run my own reports.

In my haste to type a reply, I errored and meant to write that Crystal and Peachtree use either an ODBC connection or the preferred OLE DB (ADO) Database Type and the Microsoft Data Link File "CrystalReports.udl, which is found in each Company Data Folder.

I did attach a PDF to my prior response but I am attaching the same file again so as to maximize my response to your dilemna.

Peachtree and Crystal Reports communicate via ODBC and OLE (ado) and a file labeled Crystal.udl.  I am attaching a PDF that will explain the data location mapping procedure.

Hi:

My company uses Peachtree, I just want to install Crystal Reports to run my own reports so I don't have to bother anyone to do it for me. I've used Crystal Reports in the past so I'm ok with that part.

I installed Crystal Reports and then figured out I had to install the Pervasive drivers to create an ODBC connection and it asked for a license number. I have the license for Peachtree but cannot find anything for Pervasive so I assume that when you do a full install you don't need to supply the Pervasive license number.

And advice on how to complete the install?
