      <description>Joyce, Peachtree does not have the ability to merge records, whether they have activity or not. Your best bet is probably to follow the steps in the newsletter article and mark one as inactive and hide it from lists.</description>

      <description>when making a custoomer inactive can the customer be deleted at year end ?  I have several customers that I've tried to delete but because there is still an open dollar amount from several yeabe deletrs ago in a ledger file it can't be deleted.  how do I accomplish this?</description>
