While I can't let you know what's in the next release yet, I can tell you that solving this issue is very high on the priority list ... keep your eyes open for release 2011 when pre-sales start in April.

Can someone tell me how Peachtree Complete Accounting 2009 can accommodate 12 or more digits when printing reports.

It currently shows ?????? whenever the digits are in billions.

Appreciate a prompt response.

Here at Peachtree, we take social responsibility seriously. This year the Sage Atlanta campus has donated mounds of food to a local food bank, and supported Make a Wish Foundation with boxes of toys and $1,000 in matching donations via a Twitter campaign.

Jan, If you're using Peachtree 2010, take a look at the recent blog post from Peachtree product manager, Jared Smith. This explains how to set up customer contacts using this new feature of Peachtree 2010. Please let me know if you're using an earlier version of Peachtree and I'll be happy to assist you with that.

I find that setting up a new customer with a bill to and a ship to address confusing. Maybe I'm making it harder than it really is, but I need some guidance. Where can I go with maybe step by step instructions how to set up new customers. So far I liked the old way better. Thanks, jan

Hi Virginia, the length of customer contact fields cannot be changed. In Peachtree 2010, the contact fields consist of a 15-character First Name field, a single-character Middle Initial field, and a 20-character Last Name field. In prior versions of Peachtree, there was just one 20-character Contact field. Let us know if you have any other questions.
